Here are some tips to make designing your stationery a smooth process.
1) First decide what information you want to include.
• Home or office address?
• Home, office, mobile phone number?
• When can people call you? Are your lines open 24 hours a day?
• E-mail address?
• Fax number?
2) Next you must start thinking about the arrangement of all of your information.
•Where should the address be positioned? At the top? Bottom?
•Do you have a slogan, tag line or catch phrase for your business? Will you place it under your contact information?
•Do you have a graphic or logo you would like to include? Is it a small design or will it be lightened in the background of the page?
3) Next choose the type of paper you would prefer.
•Do you want black ink on plain white paper or would you prefer some color?
•Do you want to use colored paper? Bright or neon colors?
•Determine the texture of the paper you want as well.
*Don't forget?.
•Even if you want to keep things simple, the use of a little color can significantly enhance the look of your stationery.
•Are you a member of an organization or federation? Do you want to include that on the letterhead?
•Letterhead is a reflection of the company's personality; its purpose is to express an identity beyond the actual words in the message. |
